Mark Roggeveen

Mark Roggeveen (Amsterdam 1961) graduated as a graphic designer at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. He works as an independent designer for cultural institutions such as The Concertgebouw and for various publishers and photographers. In 2024 he successfully completed the figurative art course at the Wackers Academie in Amsterdam.

 

2024 marks the debut of the Mokum Award, an initiative founded by Wackers director Karina Mol and gallery owner Rutger Brandt.  Galerie Mokum has selected Mark's outstanding series L' Innocente from the Wackers graduation exhibition to be showcased at Galerie Mokum’s Summer Exhibition.⁠ The series ‘l’innocente’ is a about rituals, adolescence, freedom of choice and ideals and will also be on view at the Affordable Art Fair..
