Three paintings by Rosa Boomsma on display in the Rijnmondiaal Biennale exhibition at the Museum Vlaardingen.
The biennial exhibitions are an investigation into the poetry of art from the Rijnmond. In our opinion, visual art from the Rijnmond region has its own poetry, characterized by humor and irony, rooted in reality. The visual arts from the Rijnmond can effortlessly compete with art expressions from the rest of the world. Hence the name Rijnmondiaal. The next Rijnmondiaal exhibition will take place from June 22 to October 31, 2024. A number of artists from the Rijnmond region will also participate in this exhibition.
Artists who have agreed to participate in the upcoming exhibition include Eveline Visser and Marjolijn van den Assem. Both winners of the Hendrik Chabot Prize. Hans Wilschut, Jasper van de Ende, Olphaert den Otter, Niels Smits van Burgst, Simon Schrikker and Stefan Gross.
